Chair Yoga

Wednesdays, 1:00pm - 2:00pm, Lakeview Balcony

Men and women are invited for an hour of stretching and breathing.  Led by a certified yoga instructor,  Chair Yoga is gentle on the joints.  Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothes and sneakers, bring a water bottle, and canned goods for Open Door Food Pantry (if possible).   Check the church calendar or call the office to confirm the current schedule.

Prayer Shawl Knitters

1st & 3rd Mondays, 1:00pm - 3:00pm, Lakeview Balcony

If you know how to knit - or would like to learn! -you can help create beautiful prayer shawls that comfort those facing sickness or trials in life.  Enjoy the company of other knitters in the process.  For more information, contact Doreen Dutton

Quilt Makers Ministry

Join other sewers to make "I Spy" quilts and fleece throws for deserving children.  No advanced sewing skills required.  All supplies are provided.  Contact Helene King for more information or just drop in to Room 115.

Men's Softball Team

Wednesdays, 6:30pm or 7:45pm, May-July

OLCCP fields a men's slow-pitch softball team in the West Bloomfield Parks "E" league.  New players are always welcome to join.  Fans too!  Games take place at West Bloomfield Sports Park on Keith Road, next to Keith Elementary School.  There are picnic tables and play equipment for the kids, too.

Scouting - Troop 160 & Pack 100

Since 1958, OLCCP has been the chartering organization for Troop 160 of Scouting America.  Family Troop 160 and Family Pack 100 and their leaders meet at OLCCP monthly.  Scouts are involved in  shared activities at OLCCP such as the annual wreath sale, Scout Sunday, Pinewood Derby, and hands-on support for the annual lakeside fireworks.  Learn more....

50+ Singles Group

This informal group meets for lunch after the 2nd service each Sunday and has fun get-togethers throughout the year.  See Thelma after church or email info@olccp.com  for information on their next gathering.

Ongoing throughout the year

Several times throughout the year, members of our Christian Life & Learning team offer Bible study for adults.  Some classes are daytime, some evening.  Watch the Adult Ed page for details.  Have a topic, book, or class you'd like to recommend, send it in.

Little Free Library

24/7, 365

Our Little Free Library is available 24/7 just outside the main entrance.  Take a book, leave a book.  There are monthly devotionals and even Bibles if you need one.  Sit by the lake to read, if you like.
