Who We Are

Childrens moment_edited.jpg

Orchard Lake Community Church strives to connect lakes-area seekers to Christ's faith community.  Our core tenents are based on God, Scripture, and Salvation.

We are a multi-generational congregation where you can grow in your faith, feel Christ's unwavering love, and develop lasting relationships with others as we walk together through life's joys and challenges.

We are governed by an elected board of Ruling Elders, also called the Session.  This group of faithful men and women is called to discern God's will as they lead, set policy, and make decisions on behalf of the congregation at large.

Our heritage is as a Reformed Christian community church.  Since 1943, we have been affiliated with Presbyterian Church (USA), hence the "P" in our nickname, OLCCP, and website, olccp.com.  To learn more about what Presbyterians believe, click the logo.

What We Believe

God

We believe in the sovereignty of God:  the supreme authority, creator, and sustainer of all things.

Scripture

We believe the Bible is the final authority for faith and life.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ.

Our Origins

Founded originally in 1874 by Scottish immigrants to serve the faithful summer vacationers around Orchard Lake, we are humbled to have served Christ in this community for over 150 years.
