Music Ministries
There's always room for more musicians!
OLCCP has a long tradition of using music to honor God's word and express the love of Jesus Christ for our community. For us, music is a key part of worship, not just a performance. Sometimes it's a classic hymn, sometimes a contemporary praise song. Don't be afraid to sing along, the words are projected on a screen and the music is available in the hymnals.
For those who want to make a regular commitment to music ministry, we offer our Chancel Choir or Chapel Bells. The Choral Scholars are selected high school vocalists who participate in Chancel Choir. Throughout the year, we also offer special programs to reach God's love deeper into our community through music. You can share your talents as an instrumentalist, vocalist, or part of the team that supports music ministry in other ways.

Chancel Choir
Chancel Choir enhances sanctuary worship through song every Sunday from September to June. Choir members may also perform in special seasonal concerts. Rehearsals are held in the Choir Room #206 under the direction of Jay Schumacher, Director of Music Ministries. All ages are welcome to join!

Chapel Bells is an ensemble of ringers who supplement worship with tunes arranged specifically for English hand bells. Can you read music and count? You have what it takes to become a bell ringer! Rehearsals are held in the Bell room #204 under the direction of Jay Schumacher. Chapel Bells rings in Sunday worship generally once per month, September-June.
Choral Scholars
The OLCCP Choral Scholars program is a select, auditioned ensemble of high school singers who are part of the Chancel Choir. Auditions are held in October. The Choral Scholars participate in weekly rehearsals and Sunday worship from November through mid-June, with possible special performances during the year. Learn more...

Music Series
The OLCCP Music Series presents expanded musical offerings several times each year. Selections vary year to year, but past productions include Handel's Messiah, Joel Raney's Have You Heard, and the Living Last Supper. These larger events usually include instrumentalists and soloists from the community, in addition to our own OLCCP musicians. Lakeside Coffeehouse
Lakeside Coffeehouse, presented at OLCCP, is a periodic presentation of Christian musicians in an intimate, coffeehouse setting. Everyone is welcome to enjoy talented, faith-forward music, coffee and tea, and light snacks. There is no cover charge. Freewill donations are accepted to support a featured ministry.
